I've been writing (big surprise) and working on characters. I had to change someones name in the story because I realized that I used to date a guy with the same name. I didn't want to accidentally throw something in the mix that could be related to that relationship (like he would notice! It was 20 years ago!). I wanted to build this character from scratch. From the floor up. The name kept making me picture this 16 year old dork who dated THIS 14 year old dork, and didn't want to go there.
